Have I broken the law?
I met a girl age 15 (NOT from the sex industry). Her father gave permission in writing (prepared and witnessed by a Thai lawyer) for her to live with me. I Gave the father a gift (dowry). Her mother's whereabouts are not known. She is now 16. I am 50. I understand the age of consent to be 15. Everyone seems to confuse that with the 'age of majority' which of course is a different matter.
