Thailand Law Online is an independent legal information platform established in 2005. It provides accessible, practical legal guidance for foreigners navigating Thai law, covering topics such as marriage and family law, property rights, inheritance, and bilingual contracts.
The website is written and curated by Robert M. Spelde, LL.M., a Dutch legal consultant with over 15 years of experience advising expats in Thailand. He has worked with law firms in Bangkok, Koh Samui, and Phuket, and is also the founder of Siam Expat Law. The articles are based on Thai law, including the Civil and Commercial Code, rather than on second-hand hearsay or forum speculation.
