Immigration and Visa
We currently do not offer visa and immigration services in Thailand. The Thai government does offer online visa and immigration information in websites like:
It is in some cases possible to 'upgrade' a visa once you are inside Thailand, but in general you should obtain the appropriate visa before you travel to Thailand. The Thai embassy in the country you reside can advice regarding the requirements and types of visa categories (tourist visa, non-immigrant visa or retirement visas). Should you travel to Thailand without a prior obtained visa most foreign nationalities are granted a 30-day visa-on-entry at the airport, or should you arrive overland (on 'visa runs') a 15 day visa on entry will be granted on re-entering Thailand. Note that most embassies and consulates around Thailand are very strict in issuing non-immigrant visas to foreign nationals.
