How can a condominium owners' committee deal with non-paying owners (owners who don't pay the monthly maintenance fee or rolling renovation fund)?
My condominium building has a good number of unoccupied units whose owners have disappeared and, obviously, are not paying the monthly maintenance fees and rolling renovation fund. I have been unable to ascertain the details of the legal process involved to resolve such a situation. Can't the owners' committee take over the units concerned or force them to be sold? Thanks in advance.
