Can a foreigner above 50 years old marry a thai lady?

I am a 53 years old Singaporean. Can I marry a Thai lady? What does the Thailand law say?

There are no maximum age or age restrictions for marriage in Thailand. Not for foreigners in Thailand not for Thai nationals, but under the civil code there is a minimum age for marriage (see last refernce link). This over 50 age restriction was a very good April fools' day practical joke by Thai Visa.
