Visa

A Thai visa is an authorization issued by a Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate that allows a foreign national to enter and stay in Thailand for a specific purpose and period of time, subject to Thai immigration laws and regulations. Thailand offers several visa categories, including Tourist Visas for travel and leisure, Non-Immigrant “O” visas (marriage visa, retirement visa), and Non-Immigrant “B” visas for business activities and employment in Thailand. Depending on the visa type, holders may be eligible to apply for extensions of stay, work permits, or re-entry permits through the Thai Immigration Bureau.
