| DBD |

| Del credere | Italian for believe or trust. Legal term for an arrangement in which an agent takes possession and agrees to sell goods for another and who guarantees that a buyer is trustworthy and, in case the buyer defaults, compensates the principal. |
| Divorce | the legal procedure that formally terminates marriage, in Thailand the legal dissolution of a marriage is governed by sections 1501 and following sections of the chapter 'termination of marriage' (civil code) |
| divorce agreement | A post-marriage contract that settles property division, spousal support, child support, and other obligations between spouses at the time of a mutual agreed divorce in Thailand . |
| Divorce Certificate | A divorce certificate is a government-issued legal record confirming that a marriage has been officially terminated in accordance with the applicable laws. It typically includes the names of both parties, the date and place of divorce, and the registration number. |
| Divorce Mediation |
A court-run process (not private) that lets spouses settle before filing a case. Under the Civil Procedure Code (No. 32, 2020; section 20 ter), there is no court fee; if settlement is reached, the court can issue a consent judgment. Apply via the Court of Justice Mediation Portal.
